I had the experience of shopping here a week ago and had a repeat of an experience I had several years ago - the article I bought had incorrect labeling. Years ago it was an Italian stone sink - labelled 'white' and on opening the box it was black. I got home and then had to take it back and was quickly given another clearly labelled 'white'. Being someone of high intelligence, I opened it before leaving the store. No, it was another black one with a white label on the box. But for whatever reason I took it anyway being assured that they would call me when real white sinks arrived. Ten years later I am still waiting as the black sink gathers dust in a shed somewhere. My kitchen renovation remains on hold. ;-) A month ago it was LED movement detector strips. Several from China had failed so I thought - "get something from a local shop instead where at least you can return the item if it fails". `so in Le Roy Merlin I asked the lady assistant in the lighting department to show me where the LED movement detector strips were and finally persuaded her to point them out to me. I grabbed three and left. I had my arms filled with all I had bought as I left and one fell on the road and a car ran over it. I took it back and the ladies at the broken parts department refused to refund that item. I went home and discovered that these were not motion detectors as we know them from the last three decades - but instead switches - operated through close hand movement. So useless for me. Thankfully on returning again a smart man was called to sort out the difficult situation, "Roman" was his name and he patiently listened to my sad story and was kind enough to refund my money and let me keep one of the 'useless' ones - perhaps I can find a use for it somewhere. He promised to speak to higher management to confirm that Le Roy Merlin stop trading with suppliers who do not label their goods clearly and honestly. My satisfaction is not 5 star as I have yet to hear about the black sink gathering dust - but that would be a standard that is only reached in truly civilized places such as Japan - Tokyu Hands is the far superior equivalent and far beyond the dreams of 'service desert Europe'. Meanwhile thanks to 'Google' for making it possible to expose those who provide service worth having and those who still just don't care about their own demise!

Probably the best DIY store I’ve found in France but let down by their facilités. For two weeks running I have used their disabled toilet Both times there was a lack of toilet paper and worse, the seat provided did not belong to the toilet was not attached in any way, just balanced there ready to cause an accident. Moreover the whole facility could do with a decent clean. No hand paper either although in the main handwashing area there are dryers that may or may not work.

Manon was wonderful helping me register for a fidelity card. She was smiling not rushing me trying to find the informations needed. Getting into a new house with things to do i was eager to register as we have already spent money in the store. She is undoubtedly a great asset to your store The card perks are far from what we were expecting. 1 .5 euro spent for one point ???? But we will try and see... If it is really worthy

If I have a choice, I would not give it one star star!! The worst experience ever buying and installing a kitchen from Leroy Merlin. We purchased a whole kitchen with installation service back in May 2022, the kitchen cabinets were delivered in the first week of August 2022. We were given an installation date of September 5th 2022. One week before the expected installation date, we were sending emails and text messages to their installer, no response, until the day before, the installer said he could not come and with no definite future date was given. We went to the store and talked to their manager and he promised a new installation date during the second week of November. We took a leap of faith and prayed they would keep their promise. We were living without a new kitchen for more than 6 months by that time. Right before the second scheduled date, after we had completed the demolition of the kitchen, the manager called and said the installation will be postponed to January 2023. We were shocked by the unprofessional, unethical and incompetent conduct from their contractor and the complete lack of concern of responsibility from the management !! We can not trust Leroy Merlin anymore and decided to cancel our installation contract and find someone who would install it for us. We wish no one will go through the nightmare like we did, stay away from their kitchen installation service department !! Annie M
